Experience greater wellness, resilience, and fulfillment through mindfulness.
After decades of working as a therapist, I know how fulfilling it feels to help others …
I’ve also felt the stress, burnout, and overwhelm that comes from seeing many clients in a day, providing a nurturing space, and compassionately witnessing suffering. This can take a toll on even the most resilient individuals.
Whether you’re a mental health professional, healthcare provider, or someone who finds meaning in helping others, you know that sense of exhaustion all too well.
You try to burn the candle at both ends but end up feeling unfocused, scatter-brained and drained. Perhaps, like many, you feel like:
- No matter how much you do, it’s not enough
- Attending to your own needs and wants feels selfish
- You’re losing the meaning and passion you once felt for your work
But here’s the thing:
When YOU feel healthy, your renewed energy makes a much deeper impact on those you serve.
So it’s time to stop feeling guilty about wanting to enjoy a healthy and fulfilling life.
But where do you start when you’re too stressed or busy to take care of you? With simple mindfulness practices you can practice anytime to train your brain to respond to stress differently.
Mindfulness training with me will help you strengthen your ability to experience calm, resilience, and self-compassion. So you feel more at ease and energized even on your busiest days.

How Does Mindfulness Affect the Way You Relate to Stress?
By practicing mindfulness, you’re bringing non-judgemental attention to your mind and body. This empowers you to leave ruminative mental chatter behind as you meet life’s challenges with more objectivity and compassion.
Ruminative thoughts decrease as you learn to direct your attention to the present moment. Your brain’s fear center quiets down, stress hormones subside, and your nervous system becomes more balanced.
Your body is more able to focus on maintenance, growth, and repair. It no longer feels like it has to fight or flee from a threat – one that’s often nowhere but in your mind. As your body relaxes, your mind becomes clearer.
Does Mindfulness Really Improve Your Mental Wellness?
According to the American Psychological Association, researchers who reviewed over 200 mindfulness studies found it effective in helping people:
- Reduce stress, anxiety, and depression
- Decrease chronic pain and fatigue
- Boost the immune system
Many of these benefits are attributed to how mindfulness affects your body’s stress response.
You can look forward to learning about and applying the neuroscience of mindfulness in my classes.
